Palm Torbay is a volunteer-run hit music radio station. We aim to position ourselves at the heart of Torbay by being responsive to local issues, showcasing and championing local talent, artists, schools, charities, and local groups as well as playing the biggest hits from the 60's all the way up to present day!
The diversity of our shows here at Palm Torbay aims to serve the wide range of ages, abilities and interests of people in Torbay and South Devon. We enable local people, community groups, charitable, social and voluntary organisations to learn how to promote themselves through the medium of online radio.
Palm offers a wide and varied amount of programming with local news, weather, and a variety of specialist music shows covering a variety of genres such as Dance, EDM, Trance, Rock, Indie, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Ska, as well as chart hits throughout the decades! COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Eligibility:
The competition is open to residents of Torbay and surrounding areas aged 18 years or over except employees of Palm Torbay and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
Winners must be able to get themselves to and from the venue safely, transport is not provided.
Entry Method:
Entries must be submitted as per the instructions provided during the radio broadcast.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Any entries received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
Prizes:
The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The prizes are not transferable.
Winner Selection:
The winner(s) will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by Palm Torbay and/or its agents.
Notification of Winners:
The winner(s) will be notified by either telephone or email within 2 days of the closing date.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 2 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
Personal Data:
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
Publicity:
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions and agreement to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition.
Amendments:
Palm Torbay reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Palm Torbay’s control.
Liability:
Palm Torbay shall have no liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from or in connection with the competition.
